Dr Fairclough was introduced to Chiropractic during his early teens, when he sought help for ‘growing pains’. After experiencing first-hand the amazing benefits of treatment, he soon set his sights on becoming a Chiropractor himself! Ten years later, he graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan, where he excelled in his academic studies.
During his time at university, Dr Fairclough developed a special interest in the treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries. In his first three years of practice, he grew a very successful Chiropractic practice near Birmingham. However, despite getting excellent results, he felt he could be doing more to improve the long term quality of life of his patients.
After a year-long sabbatical spent travelling around the world, he returned with a commitment to practice using a truly multidisciplinary approach. He has a passion for the Care for Health model - where Chiropractic and Physical Therapies are integrated to get the best and most lasting results for patients. He regularly receives Chiropractic wellness treatment to keep him performing optimally in the sports he loves - football and squash.
Dr Fairclough is a keen hiker and camper and has completed many world treks including a solo trek through the world’s oldest rainforest, the world’s deepest canyon, and the 4 day Inca trail. Other notable achievements include cycling through the world’s driest desert, and down the world’s most dangerous road!
