Rebecca Grafton, BSc MSc (Chiro) Doctor of Chiropractic

Selected from an exceptional group of candidates for our new Chiropractic associate position, it is with huge delight and much anticipation that we welcome Rebecca Grafton to Care for Health.

Dr Grafton grew up in Vancouver, Canada and was lucky enough to enjoy the great outdoors from a very young age. Her parents had her on skis at two years old! She also has a lot of experience canoeing, kayaking, climbing and hiking, and she is looking forward to strolls in the English countryside on her return here.

She originally graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Geography and English literature before taking some time to travel and work abroad. One of her most memorable experiences was buying a wooden canoe from local fishermen in Laos and paddling down a tributary of the Mekong for a few days with some fellow travellers. It is with this freedom of spirit that Dr Grafton engages with people and puts patients at ease throughout their care.

A graduate of the internationally acclaimed Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, Dr Grafton was so excited to join the team at Care for Health that she turned down other positions nearer her home in Canada to return to sample some more British wintertime!

As a Chiropractor she is dedicated to working with patients to deliver personal, attentive and effective healthcare- all the way out of pain and into wellness. She treats with a very individual emphasis, taking into consideration each person’s needs and goals, and her patients appreciate her gentle but firm treatment approach.

Rebecca particularly enjoys antenatal care and believes good posture and spinal health is invaluable for children to learn.
 
Rebecca is passionate about helping to build a healthier community, and with ambitious plans at Care for Health in 2011, we are sure she will fit in nicely!
